A World of Goo cake which I made for the 14th November for a friendly bake-off at my husband's work. My husband works as a designer at a video games company, so I thought the game theme would be most appropriate.
As you can see, this was taken at the office and is surrounded by the other cakes competing. Our cake won "Best Looking" and also got many compliments for being so tasty too.
Everything, except the sticks, is edible. The goo balls are in fact made from black coloured chocolate cake bites, instead of fondant icing.
The other cakes you can see are Day of the Tentacle, Brainslugs from Futurama, cake pops and our friend Rob's Uncharted 3 cake.
